When I moved to Katy with my mother, I quickly found myself the target of a group of bullies who studied karate at a nearby dojo. Fortunately, the sensei (an unassuming local O&G analyst) befriended me and took me under his wing, training me in a more compassionate form of martial arts and eventually compete against the brutal rival dojo.

Team Legacy combines strength, agility and strategy and creates an environment that is both challenging and supportive, making it a perfect space for kids to learn and grow, not just as athletes but as individuals. My child is learning a wide variety of martial arts disciplines improving his physical fitness, self-defense skills and confidence. Coach Scott does a fantastic job of teaching respect, focus, and perseverance, which are qualities that extend beyond the mat and into everyday life.

Coach Scott is extremely professional and patient! He teaches the kids discipline and respect! It's an academy that focuses on teaching more than moving from one belt to another! The families that are part of Team Legacy are all nice, respectful and united! The best decision we could have made!
